Outsiders
I am a little ways through the book and now Ponyboy and Johnny are walking through the park at 2:30 so it is empty. The Socs comeout and are drunk and keep trashing on the greasers. Ponyboy spits at one and the Soc grabs him and puts him under the water and he falls unconcious. He awakes and Johnny says I have killed him, Bobby. Johnny knife is soaked in bloafd and they decide to go see Dally. Dally manages to get fifty dollars for them and tell them to go on the train and get off and go into this abandon old church to hide for now.

I am farther through the book now. Ponnyboy and johnny are hiding out in this abandoned church and they are staying there until Dally come to get them. Dally comes and gets them and when they are leaving they see that the church is on fire, so they turn around and head for the church. A school teacher is screaming because he doesn't know where the rest of his kids are. Ponnyboy and johnny go into the burning church and rescure the children. When getting the last one out johnny pushes Ponny boy out of the window as the roof collapses. dally hits Ponnyboy on the back of the head knocking him out, so he won't go after Johnny. He awakes in and ambulance and hears that he is ok and his brother is too, but Johnny is hurt bad and his back might be broken.
I remember this part in the book! Poor Johnny. He was only trying to help the children and he got hurt. He was the best character and such a sweet kid, too.
