One of the main characters is Ponyboy, he is a greaser and doesn't get into the mischief because his brother would kill him. His parents died in a car crash. ponyboy doesn't believe that the Socs have problems just like the greasers. Ponyboy likes this girl Cherry and they have a lot in common. Johnny is a greaser and is one of his best friends. Darry his brother slaps Ponyboy for being home so late and Ponyboy goes to see Johnny and they decide they are going to run away.

I read The Outsiderslast year and it was one of my favorite books ever! I think You're really going to like it.
I loved this book! Talk more about Sodapop, okay? If I remember correctly he was really cool.
